'Gwangju Solidarity Contribution Controversy' 日 Son Heung-min Can't Go to the World Cup집중 Shocking Report

The Japanese media gave a forced opinion on Gwangju FC's administrative error. It is argued that Son Heung-min (Tottenham)'s participation in the World Cup was canceled. 온라인바카라

The Korea Football Association (KFA) said in an official letter from FIFA on Tuesday that the ban on registration of players, which had been imposed on Gwangju FC, has been lifted. The suspension was withdrawn as Asani's solidarity contribution of 3,000 U.S. dollars (4.11 million won) was paid belatedly. The association announced that it is now possible to register players in Gwangju again based on this information. However, the official letter is merely "resolving reasons for disciplinary action in the past" and has nothing to do with the post-judgment on the participation of unqualified players.

Gwangju FC failed to pay 3,000 U.S. dollars in solidarity contributions, which was incurred when it recruited Asani last year. Gwangju attempted to remit the money but failed due to the difference in fees and decimal point, and the payment was delayed due to overlapping leave of absence of working-level officials. In response, FIFA imposed a ban on player registration.

However, the problem is that the disciplinary action was not properly delivered to the Gwangju club. The KFA sent the information via e-mail, but the person in charge was on leave and even the e-mail was not viewed. In the midst of this void, Gwangju thought that the players were registered as normal and even participated in the K-League, the Korea Cup, and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League Elite (ACLE) stage.

The KFA said, "We apologize for causing confusion due to inexperience in administrative procedures," but there was no structural explanation for the systemic flaws. Moreover, the KFA also explained that it had not received FIFA disciplinary letters, revealing the unfamiliarity of the "run of a hole-in-the-hole league" in which the teams subject to disciplinary action arbitrarily judge and put in players.

The controversy over the participation of unqualified players is a matter that shakes the foundation of the soccer community. However, the Korea Professional Football Association said it would be difficult for Gwangju to overturn the result of the match, citing the league's rule that states, "If there is no objection within 48 hours, the result will be recognized." This provision is simply a result of the match, not a measure to avoid responsibility for the participation of players subject to disciplinary action.

The official letter sent by FIFA indicates the lifting of the ban on registration of players along with confirmation of payment of joint contributions. However, this does not justify Gwangju's "unqualified players" from existing matches.

Even an association official acknowledged the nature of the problem, saying, "Regardless of FIFA's official letter, some players in Gwangju are ineligible in principle." Nevertheless, the government is postponing restrictions on participation "in order to ensure the stability of the league and wait for FIFA's position in the future."

Even after the controversy over the participation of unqualified players, Gwangju used the same players in the match against Suwon FC in the Korea Cup and Pohang in the league.

Pohang has raised an objection to the match, and the KFA said it is reviewing the legal team. According to Article 33 paragraph 2 of the KFA's regulation, if an objection is filed within 48 hours after the match, a forfeited loss is possible when an unqualified player plays. Pohang has requested the request in accordance with its official procedure.

The KFA is currently reserving its decision, saying it is "waiting for FIFA's official policy."

Japanese media are continuing a fierce atmosphere without missing an opportunity.

The World said, "There is a possibility that Gwangju, which has made strides in ACLE, will be sanctioned for fraudulent player registration." Gwangju did not pay solidarity contributions and FIFA already banned Gwangju from strengthening its power last December. "It is a story that an irregular player played in Gwangju, which beat Vissel Kobe," he said, expressing shock.

It is not a problem for a single team in Gwangju. There is a possibility that the entire Korean soccer community will be given disciplinary action because the KFA is involved. Japanese media including The World said that the KFA has a duty to provide FIFA with proof of implementation of the registration ban. Failure to prove this could result in potential sanctions. There is a possibility that South Korea will be excluded from the FIFA World Cup and all international competitions hosted by AFC. Son Heung-min cannot go to the last World Cup," he said.
